The USB-Nano-485 changes signals between USB and RS-485. The device is specially designed for the two wire RS-485-bus. For this reason there are no confusing attachment and configuration settings.
The attachment is not complicated and debugging is simple in case of communication problems. The LEDs are shows: Power (yellow), Rx (green) and Tx (red).

Because of the extremely small dimensions the USB-Nano-485 is particularly usable for mobile use at notebooks. Stationary applications are however likewise possible.
For the RS-485 plug you can get a casing if needed to build your own connection cord.
